Neil Krebs Award Winner

Congratulations to Nic Eppler-Menei who recieved the Neil Krebs Award this past Saturday Nov 19. 

The Neil Krebs award is given annually to a member of the Tier 1 Championship Team. It is given to a male volleyball player one year and a female the next. 
Neil Krebs was a student who played on the freshman boys volleyball team at Spring Valley School here in the St James-Assiniboia School Division. 

This award was developed as a memorial to Neil who died as a result of an automobile/cycling accident. This award is given annually to a player who best exemplifies the characteristics that Neil displayed as an athlete -excellent skill, sportsmanship and team commitment.

Bruce Girls WIN!

Congratulations to the Bruce Girls who won the St James Assiniboia Middle Years Tier 1 Volleyball Championship this past weekend way to go ladies!

Bruce Wins Volleyball Championship for the second year!

Congratulations to the Bruce Bearcats who captured the St James Middle Years Athletic Association Tier 1 Volleyball Championship this past weekend. This is the second year in a row for the boys!

LADY WARRIORS WIN WWAC CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to the Westwood Varsity Girls who took the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference (WWAC) Championship last week at Shaftesbury high school. The Warriors took home the gold with a 5 set thriller versus St Marys Academy 16-25, 25-17, 15-25, 25-21, 15-7.
