The Neil Krebs award is given annually to a member of the Tier 1 Championship Team. It is given to a male volleyball player one year and a female the next.
Neil Krebs was a student who played on the freshman boys volleyball team at Spring Valley School here in the St James-Assiniboia School Division.
This award was developed as a memorial to Neil who died as a result of an automobile/cycling accident. This award is given annually to a player who best exemplifies the characteristics that Neil displayed as an athlete -excellent skill, sportsmanship and team commitment.
