Physical Literacy Training Workshop
Dates of Trainings:
Each workshop will run 3 hours beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Session 1: April 9 – Introduction to Winnipeg Community Sport Policy, Long Term Athlete Development model, and Canadian Sport for Life
Session 2: April 16 – Do the Locomotion
Session 3: April 23 – Learning to Fly
Session 4: April 30 – It’s a Game of Give and Take
Session 5: May 7 – Kick Start my Heart
Session 6: May 14 – I’m Yelling Timber
Location: TBA
Additional themed sessions will be offered throughout the year and are optional:
- Dance and Rhythm
- Involving Literacy in Physical Literacy
- Physical Literacy on a dime
- Active Together
- Themed Movement
